principle:
A large quantity of water-bearing steam enters and moves in a centrifugal downward tilt motion; the entrained water is separated by a decrease in speed; the separated liquid flows through a trap to discharge, the dry and clean steam is discharged from the separator outlet.
Separation method:
1、Gravity settlement: because the density of a gas and a liquid is different, when the liquid flows with the gas, the liquid will be affected by gravity to produce a downward velocity, while the gas will still flow in the original direction, in other words, the liquid and the gas have a tendency to separate in the gravitational field, the downward liquid attached to the wall gathered together through the exhaust pipe discharge.
2、Zigzag separation: because of the different density of the gas and the liquid, when the liquid and the gas flow together, if encountered a barrier, the gas will zigzag away, and the liquid because of inertia, continue to have a forward speed, the forward liquid adheres to the barrier wall and is drawn downward by gravity and discharged through the discharge tube.
3、Centrifugal force separation: because the gas and liquid density is different, when the liquid and the gas are mixed and rotated, the centrifugal force on the liquid is greater than the gas, so the liquid has the tendency of centrifugal separation, the liquids attached to the separation wall are collected downward by gravity and discharged through the discharge pipe.
4、Screen separation: because the gas and liquid particles of different sizes, liquid and gas flow together, if must pass through the screen, like a sieve, the gas through, and the liquid was intercepted and left on the screen, and under the action of gravity down to the bottom of the separator discharge.
5、Ultrafiltration separation: because the gas and the liquid particle size is different, when the liquid and the gas flow together, if must pass through the microporous filtration, like the sieve, the gas through, the liquid is intercepted and left on the microporous filter, and under the effect of gravity down to the bottom of the separator discharge.
6、Packing separation: because of the different density of the gas and the liquid, when the liquid and the gas flow together, if encountered a barrier, the gas will fold and go, and the liquid because of inertia, continue to have a forward speed, the forward liquids attached to the barrier packing surface are gathered downward by gravity and discharged through the discharge tube。
